Miley Cyrus apologised for a racy Vanity Fair magazine topless photo shoot where she appears to be topless. Hannah Montana is an Emmy Award-nominated American television series, which debuted on March 24, 2006 on Disney Channel. The series focuses on a girl who lives a double life as an average teenage school girl named Miley Stewart, played by Miley Cyrus and a famous pop singer named Hannah Montana at night, concealing her real identity from the public, other than her close friends and family.
The 15-year-old star of Hannah Montana owned by Disney, Miley Cyrus said she was embarrassed by the topless photos, taken by popular photographer Annie Leibovitz. Miley Cyrus appears wrapped in only a blanket.
Here is Miley Cyrus’s statement of apology made to ‘Entertainment Tonight’ for her racy topless photo.
“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” she tells ET. “I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”
