Bollywood News: Kajol is all praises for Kareena Kapoor, her co-star in ‘We Are Family’. This is the second time that Kajol is working with Kareena, their previous work being ‘Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham’ made by the same banner, Dharma Productions. ‘We Are Family’ is the official Hindi remake of the Hollywood film, ‘Stepmom’, starring Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts in the lead roles. In the Hindi film, Kajol and Kareena play the leads respectively.
Kajol and Kareena are both famous for being firebrand actors. Both of them had famous fights with co-actors in the past. It’s pleasantly surprising that Kajol got along well with Kareena! She praised Bebo’s sense of humor and mentioned how boring it gets when the co-stars are not interesting. Kajol admitted to being stuck with some really dull actors in the past. Was she referring to Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan? Their vibes didn’t look too frothy during the making of ‘Fanaa’. The fact that the film received mixed reviews couldn’t have salvaged much either.
In related news, Kajol will not be promoting ‘We Are Family’. She is expecting and cannot travel extensively to promote the film across the country. Dharma Productions changed their itinerary to suit Kajol. It will only be Kareena Kapoor doing the honors. The travel arrangements have been made in a way to make it possible for Bebo to reach out to as many as possible. She has blocked her dates for the marketing of this film because this is one movie really close to her heart. Did we tell you that she took acting lessons to get into the large shoes of Julia Roberts?
The director of the movie, Siddharth Malhotra confirmed that the movie will release as scheduled, on Eid this September. Yes Eid. He clarified that there was no love lost between the actors as far as the promotion of the movie is concerned.
