Priyadarshan’s DE DANA DAN is though a comedy movie but it is somehow inspired by the Hollywood classic THE TOWERING INFERNO (1974). The similarities lie in the climax part of the movie. In the Hollywood classic the climax goes like this : There is extensive fire and flames and to extinguish that it is required to explode the million gallon water tanks at the top of the building. Similarly in De DANA DAN, an accidental mistake leads to explode million gallon water tank at the top of the building. The scene is of great fun.
