Bollywood News: No, it isn’t Akshay Kumar doing a Salman Khan in real life! This is what Akki does in Farah Khan’s next film ‘Tees Maar Khan’. Let me explain. Farah is shooting a song on Katrina Kaif called “Sheila ki jawani”! The song has the oomphy Kat gyrating to a belly dancing number composed by the electric music composers Vishal and Shekhar. But, as Farah revealed, Vishal wanted to compose the song on the express condition that he would get to feature in the video of the song! Farah readily agreed.
The setting of the song in the movie is that Vishal plays a film director shooting this song on Katrina. His character makes him ogle at Kat in generous stares. Farah gave him a distinct look in the film. He wears a cowboy hat that has golden rings studded on it. And the movie also has Akshay Kumar breaking a bottle on the head of Vishal to rescue the damsel in distress! Surely the audience is in for a treat when this movie hits the marquee in December.
Here’s a word on the Katrina Kaif number in the film. She shakes her svelte belly in the song ‘Sheila ki jawani’ almost on the lines of Shakira. Farah wanted a bona fide belly dancing choreography so she flew in a belly dancing expert from Brazil. Farah tells us that this number will present Katrina Kaif like never before. She promises to make Kat look the hottest she can possibly be. That may not be some wild claim that Farah is making for the marketing blitz of the film. She’s known to push the boundaries when it comes to presenting the superstars in her movies. Dard-e-disco and SRK’s six-pack abs is the greatest example of how she can turn things around to give something new and unique to her fans.
