After a big brawl, finally Sharukh Khan patched-up with Farah Kahan, Shrish Kunder, Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala. Yesterday, the newspapers, tabloids and the whole web were filled with the leading story about drunk Shah Rukh punched Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder at Sanjay Dutt’s party on Sunday night.
Seeing the fight, which continued being uglier and it turning towards dangerous side, Farah Khan’s brother Sajid Khan took it in his own hands and called Shah Rukh’s wife Gauri to fix an appointment. Farah Khan, her husband Shrirish Kunder and Sajid Khan went to Khan’s residence Mannat and met SRK over the meal. Here Shirish said sorry to Shah Rukh and both hugged each other.
About the meeting Farah’s brother says, “Yes, I made the call to Gauri (SRK’s wife) and Shah Rukh and asked if we could come over (to Mannat) and Gauri said, ‘Farah doesn’t need to ask permission for it.’ In the meantime, Sajid (Nadiadwala) had called up Shirish and Farah,”
Sajid Nadiadwala informed that when they reached Mannat, there was no problem, they had lunch together. “Every family has ups and downs. So, our family too went through it. I credit Gauri and Nadiadwala for helping break the impasse,” says Saiid.
He also reported. “Neither Shirish and Farah nor Shah Rukh had any issues. In fact, they agreed to meet each other within 10 seconds,”
Farah who was very much upset with the brawl that took place between Shahrukh Khan and her husband Shirish Kunder, now is happy about the patch-up. She said, “It’s always nice to read such stories like fun gossip but only those who are going through it understands the gravity,” Farah also added that whenever she and Shah Rukh meet, it’s like nothing happened between them. “And it was great to meet Gauri. She was also quite unhappy about everything and wanted this meeting to happen,” says the Om Shanti Om director.
Shirish Kunder also felt that after the fight, the relation between him and Shah Rukh has become stronger. “No one knows what actually happened. All are giving their own versions of the story. Such thing happens in parties. We all were drunk and high and so we got into arguments,” he says. “We sorted out things because things were getting bitter and hundred of baseless things were being written.”
Shahrukh, Farah and Shirish have a relationship of 20 years but Shah Rukh and Farah Khan’s friendship ended up in 2009 when Shah Rukh had turned down the offer to star in Kunder’s movie. Well the good news is that it is all over and the friendship has taken birth once again. Farah Khan said that Shah Rukh told her to forget all and start afresh once again.
Sajid Khan told the media being sentimental that when his sister Farah’s marriage took place there were only three witnesses – he, Sajid Nadiadwala and Shah Rukh Khan and Shah Rukh did Farah’s ‘kanyadaan’. So they were like a family and this was the reason that he took the initiative to sort out the things by calling Gauri and fixing an appointment.
