Tabu has started a new film. Tabu’s last film was ”Cheeni Kum” with Amitabh Bachchan, released in 2007. After a long time she has signed Bejoy Nambiar’s next directorial project.
She was not seen in Mumbai for last few years. After Cheeni Kum she has been shifted to Hyderabad and started to living there. But after break off with Nagarjuna, she is back in Mumbai. Recently, she was seen at Farah Khan’s birthday party.
About her reported break off people says Tabu breaks her relationship when she is hurt. But Sajid Nadiadwala her ex-boyfriend says, Why do people presume Tabu is a recluse and that she shuns company? I’ve known her from 1998. Yes, our equation changed. But the mutual feeling is still there. She has a priceless sense of humour. And when she’s with friends-and there aren’t too many of them-she is in her element. Tabu can have you in splits.”
Further Sajid says, “I’ve seen her cry watching cartoons, weep over news on television and wail when a bird is hurt. She is a very special person. Perhaps a little too special and sensitive for this ruthless industry. Here you need a thick skin. Tabu couldn’t grow that.
Tabu seems to have a fatal attraction for Nagarjuna. Tabu herself said about him some time back, ” It’s love and it’s forever and it will last for as long as we live. He is a godsend to me. I don’t know if it’s a previous birth connection or what, but I can fall back on my relationship with Nag whenever I feel the need to.”From a reliable source confirms, “Nag (Nagarjuna) is the only man Tabu has really loved. He’s like a part of her that would never go away. She will wander away, but he will remain the centre of her universe. She looks for Nag in every man she gets close to.”
But currently she wants to start a new innings in Bollywood with a power packed performance like she used to do in the past.Recently she has started learning salsa.So after her break off with Nagarjuna,she is back to her old life.
Director Mahesh Manjrekar wants to sign Tabu for his next film. Mahesh was the director of “Astitva”. Mahesh Manjrekar says, “It’s a subject called White and only Tabu can do it. It’s a powerful unconventional subject, like Astitva. As far as I’m concerned there’s no better actress than Tabu. Tabu heard me narrate White and she wept like a baby throughout the narration. Then she just stared at me. I was waiting for her to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’. She said neither. After a while I stood up and left telling her to let me know her decision.”
