Katrina Kaif is having a tough time with the men she’s working with! We reported earlier how Ranbir Kapoor was staying away from her. Now there are confirmed reports that Akshay Kumar isn’t very amused with Katrina either. In fact, he’s being rather rude with her! Katrina opened her heart out to a tabloid and revealed that Akshay doesn’t even say ‘Hello’ to her when they meet for the day. For those who have been living under a rock, Akshay and Katrina have teamed up for their upcoming film, ‘Tees Mar Khan’. The film hits the screens this December.
Katrina said that she has often asked Akshay why he doesn’t smile or acknowledge her presence and why he is always angry. Akshay apparently replies that she is being silly. Though Katrina deflected the cause to being familiar with each other for long enough, we sense otherwise. There was a time when Akshay would recommend Katrina for every project where he was cast as the leading man. That made his wife Twinkle Khanna suspicious and she raised a hue and cry over it. Remember when Akshay had to leave home and stay put in a hotel? Finally things subsided and Akshay returned home.
‘Tees Mar Khan’ is being directed by Farah Khan. She decided to get Akshay and Katrina primarily for their novelty as a leading pair onscreen. They have seldom failed to deliver when they were cast together. And Farah has a point or two to prove to a certain Shah Rukh Khan. But we hope for her sake that this lack of offscreen chemistry between her lead pair doesn’t affect their onscreen performance. Some are also pointing at the Salman Khan factor behind Katrina getting isolated from people she’s working with. Is Katrina’s career headed for a downslide? We’ll be the first to tell you!
